Drooling over Dunhill, head designer John Ray delivered his
first collection for the luxury British goods brand Alfred Dunhill, with the
inspiration of the late 1950s and 60s, combining vintage and contemporary aspects
to define his main source of muse: Francis Bacon, and his colour palette.
Earthy tones were seen across the F/W collection, fabrics exclusively developed
by British mills to produce a series of classic menswear patterns, cut to
provide the wearer with an ease of movement.
It was so typically pretentious with a wealthy school boy approach. Models carved by cupid himself, wearing both casual and formal outfits, perfect for any situation. The soft, peachy salmon silk pyjamas and fur coat had been my most favoured blend and look due to its indulgent and comforting appeal. This is definitely how a true gentleman should dress. Can’t wait to see more of Ray in the future!
