At the beginning of the
month I had bought myself an Elle, I thought this would make a nice
change to the occasional Harper's Bazaar or Vogue. This issue
included a sample size of Benefit's Roller Lash Mascara which
everyone has been discussing recently! I usually cringe when beauty
samples are packed with magazines, reminiscing back to my younger
days when an 8 year old Katria would pick up a Mizz that would be
sold with cheap make-up products. After trying the Estée Lauder's
Sumptuous Extreme, which had been distributed with the Harper's
Bazaar December 2014 issue (now my favourite mascara), I couldn't
resit giving it another shot and proceeding to try another sample
from another magazine.
Last year I had created
a quick gift guide, and with Valentine's Day coming up I thought I would make another! Love should be remembered all
year round, not only on St Valentine's, but who doesn't adore a little extra romance? This guide will hopefully give you a few ideas when buying gifts, especially now that there are only 2 days left!
Although my blog is
still under construction, I decided that I would post a selection of
images found on my tumblr (you can follow me here), for inspiration. I
have been captivated by open spaces, effortless outfits, and chic
attire for a very long time now. Simplicity is an aesthetic to live
by, it's oddly extravagant and can be portrayed through many manners.
